Mordor is out, the kin celebrated their 10 year anniversary and we’re all still alive. In this post i’d like to answer some questions i’ve gotten over the past few weeks and some you might not have asked yet.
What kind of activties will we organise ingame?
We organise what is asked, we like and/or what we feel you would like to do. Ettenmoors, instances, races, chickens, parties, deed night etc. Lotro has changed alot of things and (temporarily) removed some activities for us. We’re sure that the ettenmoors will be populated again in the near future, T2 runs are a lot harder now and the need to do specific raids for armour sets isnt there anymore.
Over the next few weeks we’ll continue to offer a mixed schedule for high, low and max level players. Some will be mordor based and others accesible for all. In the mean time, don’t forget to have fun with your kinnies.
Lotteries and kinparties aka Party-weekend
These will be back on a regular schedule. It won’t be one every month. But we’re aiming for a 6-7 week. This will give us the time we need to make them a success without having them be just be another thing.
First one will be at the beginning of september. Followed by the Halloween party in october and the new year week in December. The first weekends theme will be Back to school. Details will follow in the next week, but we’ll have a new lottery, kinauctions, kinhouse party and a Chicken run to Echad Mirobel.
The mordor instance cluster
We do have plans to tackle this new instance cluster as the kin. The raid that will come after it is on our mind as well. We missed the window to really participate in the Throne raid. But this time we’re not rebuilding the kin as it’s released.
Ofcourse is completely dependant on the number of players, gear and classes available at that time. There will be increased attention for it when it will be released, but the kin won’t go full 7 day T2 raid schedule.
Website update – event planner
To prepare for the new instances and raid and to further polish the website we’ve added an event planner to the page. This will be the basis from which we organise our events. Everyone can join the events, but there will be events for which we have a limit to the number of players of classes.
Website update – Unified
At this time the wotv website and Unified are two seperate website. They will be integrated into one event calendar and sign-up. No need to visit multiple websites or miss events cause there was no place in the MotD or it wasnt posted to our facebookgroup.
Website update – overview page
Speaking of not missing events, posts and other information. The website itself has gotten a new look a few weeks ago. It’s build up in a way that each visitor has the information they need in 1 place. Or easily reachable from that page. Below are the direct links to each part of the website.
