Personal stance on kin raiding

Every time in an expansions life-cycle there is a point where a degree of seperation between what there is to do in lotro and what people can/want/don’t want to do and every version inbetween that exists. This usually involves raiding at the end of an expansion. Only this time with the delay of Gundabad it’s a bit more emphasized with SSG creating a game-state where for a larger group of kinnies this is the only thing they feel there is to do.

Kin “rule” or how i prefer to have the kin be a welcome place for all kind of players which results in both opposites. Noone has to participate in any activity (be online for social play on kin parties or be raiding 4 times a week) versus not allowing people to participate in those activities.

While i do encourage players to team up and use kin resources such as the discord for these activities there won’t be a kin before pug rule enforced. And on both sides, talk to the people that you see organise the event. It’s better to bud heads once then to remain annoyed.

Personal part
I’m not participating in higher tier content for the sole purpose that i know it will be a fun month followed by a burn-out. I’ve seen it happen plenty of times. If you really feel it’s the only thing you can do in lotro. It’s ok to take a break of lotro or dabble in other activities. If you need to clear T3 Remorchant as kin it’s also ok to try out a different kin. As silly as it sounds, it’s the same if a player expects a roleplay or an *insert any IRL preference kin.

Respect each others decisions and talk to each other or contact me or another officer if you feel bored or looking for a specific run. There might be more people interested in a kin-band, leveling an alt or Stone of the tortoise group.
